GET A LIFE, LIVE THE LIFE...

What kind of life do you live?

There comes a time in a real man's life, where he's got to face a choice no matter what. I used to tag myself a street smart, a title I valued more than being a classroom scholar. My unique perspective of life spurged from the school of hard knocks, and deep down inside, am better, having been through what I endured. Our paradigms and cultural conditioning make up the story of our lives. Each has a beginning, a plot and characters. There may even be heroes and villains. Every great story turns on a struggle of some kind, a hero against a villain, a race against time, a character against her conscience, a man against his own limits. The paradigm of creation makes you examine yourself and realize that you have more to offer in terms of creativity and innovation, as well as ability to impact the society in a well defined manner.

I believe in fighting as hard as you can against living a mediocre life. Nothing saddens me when I see a man who's living template of societal expectations, a man who never strives to be all that he can. A man who hides behind a job and family as his reason for not making effort. Ever heard the statement, "the machine will take over?" Well, they have. A lot of people might as well be programmed and factory made, given that they live the life they "think" is expected of them, they do not have their own ideas.

You cannot see correctly looking from where somebody else is. What you deserve and you desire are two different things. Nobody is ahead of another person by mistake. If there is any  mistake, life corrects mistakes. Life is in levels. Every human being is not on the same level of life. When you are operating in pride and comparison, you will be reading life from another person's perspective.
To be successful in life is not a destination, it is a direction. Too many young people today are too blinded by the prospect of success and "starting life" as soon possible that they fail to realize that the only thing worse than death is regret of a life wasted. Waking up at 60 to realize that you gave up your best years, energy, time to wrong career. Nothing hurts more; Nothing!

As a Christian, I love to use templates from the Bible anywhere I find them, It is said in the Bible that many of the psalms were born in difficulty. Most of the Epistles were written in prisons... Even the most of the greatest thoughts of the greatest thinkers of all time had to pass through fire. Where you are now is not as important as the direction you are to face.

Plan your life not to live by crisis but by design. Itemize all that needs to be done, prioritize things in order of importance, organize each project and emphasize only one project at a time.

Don't follow routine. Make a schedule to live a better life and stick to it. A routine is a passive, usually unintentional pattern of behavior that people follow or conduct while schedule is an active, intentional sequence of activity carried out by people. Great men keep schedules, while the average men follow a routine. The point here is the deliberateness which you must apply to your goals if they are ever to become a reality. You need to constantly take daily steps which are part of some preprepared grand strategy in order to see your dreams come true. Nothing works without a game-plan. Even relatively minor issues like loosing weight or picking up a new language, you need to have a big plan which in turn drives a daily schedule for you.

You cannot afford to do things blindly anymore, A bad lifestyle is the mother of poverty and failure. Develop a spirit of responsibility and hard work, it is honorable. The way to break the spirit of poverty and begging is work. Don't let someone pay your way through life. Develop a lifestyle of being a contributor in your Family and environment and not a consumer as student. It would require discipline and some degree of hard work.

God does not sponsor laziness.

Check yourself and ask what life you live and what lifestyle you have.
